Cupcakes volunteered at You Gotta Have Guts run/walk.

Cupcakes entertained her parents, getting up at 6:30 to volunteer at You Gotta Have Guts run/walk. She stayed awake for the registration and a little while longer but fell asleep until the event was over. We'll still put this one on your pre-school application, Cupcakes!

Cupcakes loves Uncle Chris II

Uncle Chris and Auntie Angela came for a walk after dropping off a sofa for Uncle Eric. Uncle Chris copied Cupcakes' faces very well - as usual, ha.

Cupcakes' first time swimming

Everyone got out of bed for Cupcakes' first time in the pool. Auntie Penny and Uncle Michael woke up early to take pictures of Cupcakes' first time swimming. Cupcakes was a good sport to get up to swim with other babies even though she went to bed later the night before. Cupcakes enjoyed being in the pool. After fifteen minutes Cupcakes whimpered, so Mama took her out of the pool.

When we turned around again, all the little ones were done, too. Babies get cold after a little while. We had a lot of fun playing in the water. Afterwards Auntie Penny helped dress Cupcakes. Thank you, Auntie Penny!

Cupcakes got to play on Uncle Michael's tummy before we headed out for brunch. Paskel, we've got some more of these books that Cupcakes really enjoys coming your way!

Dinner with Auntie Boo and Uncle Brady

We had dinner with Auntie Boo and Uncle Brady. Auntie Boo enjoyed bonding with Cupcakes. Cupcakes fell asleep comfortably on Auntie Boo's shoulder. Uncle Brady visited Cupcakes when she was just born but held Cupcakes for the first time. On the way to bubble tea Mama asked to hold Cupcakes because she was cold, and Auntie Boo laughed at Mama's self-motivated request.

Cupcakes a happy baby

Cupcakes has been a happy baby since ahgong and ahma took care of her. She continues to be a happy baby going to the new daycare. Yay!

Cupcakes made it through the first week!

Before Cupcakes started at the new daycare, Ahma had commented that Cupcakes was doing well if she made it through four days. She made it through the first week and as a really happy baby! Mama can see her as one of the kids that cry because they don't want to go home when it's time to go home.

Cupcakes has been napping really well - a couple 1-2 hour naps - at the daycare and going to bed later. She has been a little bit more tired in the morning as well. No wonder she was "quiet as a peep" the whole way to school this morning!

Cupcakes is finally big enough to wear one of the new outfits from Aunties Sandy and Meggan. Thank you!!

Day 3 at new daycare

Mama learned from Miss Monique this morning that Cupcakes participated in signing, reading, circle time, nap time, letters and playing outside yesterday. Miss Monique and Miss Raquel take turns having Cupcakes in the Baby Bjorn. When Miss Monique asked for a turn yesterday afternoon, Miss Raquel said, "Just 5 more minutes." No wonder Cupcakes has not cried the last two days - she is being spoiled much at the new daycare! Mama made notes for Miss Monique that Cupcakes likes to be swaddled when she takes a nap and that she may like milk, too. Miss Monique swaddles her and gives her milk, and Cupcakes naps "like a baby!" Thank you, Miss Monique! Cupcakes has a new cry that Mama will have to learn. She cried on the way to school this morning. Mama thought she was hungry. When Mama got her out of the carseat, she smelled a poopy diaper. Cupcakes has not cried to have her diaper changed before!
