Love at daycare

There is so much love for Cupcakes at daycare. Sydney (8), Cameron (6) and Cotton (1 1/2) greet her every morning. Cupcakes touches Cameron on the nose (from Cameron touching Cupcakes' nose playing a couple mornings). Sydney always leans her head against Cupcakes, so now Cupcakes leans forward. The two of them touch heads as their morning greeting. Noah, Miss Monique's 6-year-old, hugs Cupcakes before he leaves for school. d'Andre (turning 3) asks to hold baby. Matai strokes Cupcakes' face, and she smiles.

Miss Raquel is moving to Vegas! Cupcakes took a WHOLE JAR of carrots from Miss Raquel AND 4 oz of milk in one sitting. That was her first meal of solids at daycare. Previously she would only have a teaspoonful each time the 3-4x she had solids at home. Cupcakes wears some of the carrots on her shirt, and Miss Raquel is so cute!

Blanket from Auntie Kay

Soon after Cupcakes started moving Mama brought the blanket that Auntie Kay made to daycare. As soon as it was spread out the morning gang plopped down on it around Cupcakes.

Happy birthday, Annika!

Happy first birthday, Annika!

Before the party Mama and Cupcakes made rice crispy treats for favors and cupcakes for the party. We even got to help Auntie Lisa package favors beautifully. We had fun getting together with Auntie Marci, Auntie Lisa, Uncle Thomas, Adam and Annika.

At the party we had yummy food that Auntie Marci and Auntie Lisa prepared. Annika had a lot of neat presents. Cupcakes got to hang out with the bigger kids a bit!

We had a great time!

Daddy & Zen Baby

Someone at Annika's first birthday party asked Mama whether the baby in the distance was hers while she frosted cupcakes. Mama looked over, and she found a zen baby by the rocks. Daddy took Cupcakes on the seesaw and helped her walk on the grass in her so cute dress from Auntie Jeannie. :)

Save the Date

Auntie Boo, Uncle Brady, Daddy and Mama worked on the save the date cards for Auntie Boo and Uncle's Brady's upcoming wedding. They are getting married in Hawaii!!

Mama finished working on the cards. Auntie Boo and Daddy addressed envelopes. Uncle Brady coordinated the efforts, ensured proper addressing of titles (of guests) and held Cupcakes - busy!

We went out for coffee afterwards. Cupcakes did not like being out in the car late. It could also be because that is not part of her normal routine.
