Surprise Easter package from Auntie Kay

The blinds on the back door are normally down. This day we had it open. After lunch we found a package sitting on the back porch!

"Pull. . ." said Cups.

Auntie, you were not here to see, but Cups was thrilled with your bunny card. . or the M&Ms inside the bunny's tummy.

She had a couple M&Ms right away.

Then she got really distracted popping the bubbles in the bubble wrap with her hands and jumping on it that she didn't finish looking through the rest of the box.

Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity, Auntie Kay!

Spaghetti

Cups: Mama, the house is smokey.

Grandma suggested the Classico spaghetti sauce, and the family loved it!

Muscat grapes

These grapes are out only once a year. Daddy and Mama first had tree-ripened Muscat grapes in France. They were already squished in the bag by the time we stepped out of the store. They also had thinner skin in France. These Chilean Muscat grapes will do here. Cups thinks these are awesome, and Mama doesn't know what she's going to do once the season is over.

Calzone at Pazzo's on Eastlake. . .

Yes, the pictures told the story: we had a typical family gathering. Happy birthday, Daddy!

Auntie Esther's cupcakes

Auntie Esther practiced making red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting for her niece Lauren's birthday. Those of us in the office benefited from the occasion. Thank you, Auntie Esther!
