Daddy home with Cups

Daycare is closed all this week. Daddy took vacation to stay home with Cups. Daddy did a wonderful job. He gave Cups a shower everyday and washed her hair. Daddy dressed Cups in a cute outfit everyday. Daddy figured out how to put Cups down for a nap in no time. He played with her, talked with her, fed her and asked Mama about her one puffy eye. When Mama gets home, Cups is ready to go to the park with a fresh diaper on. Daddy has many stories from the day to share with Mama. Mama finds cute pictures of Cups and Daddy on her camera. At bedtime Daddy gets Cups ready for bed so that Mama doesn't have to do much. Thank you, Daddy!!!

Another gorgeous sunset

Cups writing an offer

We found a house that we liked. Cups was ever so patient at Auntie Mary Ann's office. Let's hope that Daddy and Mama find and afford the dream house that they've been looking for for close to six years soon!

Cups' blended lemonade

It was so hot (90-100 degrees), and the family was a little crazy to have been on the beach. We had a cold drink at Starbucks, and Auntie Mary Ann called to show us a house. We saw the house and had dinner before heading over to Auntie Mary Ann's office.

Bigs on the swing

It was hot out, so we did not stay at the park for long. Cups was a trooper in the heat. She played as usual. Daddy put her in the swing for a little bit. We made sure that the seat was not too hot before we put her in it. She waved in the swing. Hee, Bigs!

Cups passed out soon after she was buckled in the car seat. She continued to sleep after opening her eyes for a brief moment after Mama moved her to the stroller when we got to Chinatown. She did wake up for dinner at the end and enjoyed half of Mama's bubbles in the bubble tea after dinner. The kids played after having some Japanese crepes. Adam took the picture of Cups and Mama.

Daddy checked in with Mama regularly throughout the day. We had a great day, and he did, too!

Cups' second sno cone

We couldn't find Auntie Lisa's family, and it was getting really hot standing around. As much of a shaved ice lover that Mama is, we didn't really need an excuse to have a sno cone, haha. Cups had her first taste of sno cone in Hawaii, but the concept of eating was still foreign. This time she helped herself.

Uncle Kourosh from work spotted Mama and said hi while we enjoyed the sno cone. We were lucky that Auntie Lisa and Uncle Thomas were checking their cell phone, so we were able to locate them in a not-the-usual location. Cups went in the water soon after we got there. (Mama has learned to bring an extra outfit and a new diaper in the stroller after many times at the beach before returning to work.) Cups had a good time!

Cups hangin' in Fremont

Daddy left to help Uncle Jason move. Mama wanted a sandwich from Baguette Box in Fremont. We left for a little adventure. The drunken chicken sandwich was very yummy. Cups had a few bites. She knew the drill, pointing at the counter and making noises, as soon as we went inside the Theo store. Cups had a few samples, and we turned around to meet Auntie Lisa's family on the beach. On the way Mama pointed out the "dou4 dou4" on the stalk in front of PCC. Cups is starting to repeat a lot after people this week.

Breakfast at MM

We had breakfast at MM. It was a treat to have an early weekend morning for the family. Well, we had just gotten out of bed; otherwise, we'd never make it to breakfast, haha. Cups had fun watching the birdie waiting around for bits of food to fall on the ground. She didn't eat.

Cups' last day at Playmates Daycare

Did Cups cry because she knew it was her last day at the daycare? Everyone was sad to see her go. They loved her and took great care of her. Miss Nikki got her a beach toy set and a ball that said "Good bye, Cupcakes. We'll miss you. Love, Playmates Daycare" with everyone's name on it. However, the names have been rubbing off. :( We'll miss everyone!
