Mama's tea party

We had a great time at Mama's tea party. Thank you so much for coming, everyone, and thank you for all the birthday presents!

Cups is growing.

Cups went next door on her own. She had grapes and milk with Claire and Cara and later played in a fort with Claire.

At Auntie Penny's

On the fourth day Cups was finally brave enough to reach her hand out for some kisses.

Andy and her treat

Mud Bay is only two blocks from home. We went with Andy two times in three days. We got Andy this treat. She was content and occupied for half an hour. Then it was time for another visit to Mud Bay, haha.

An evening walk to the Junction

And we stopped by Uptown coffee shop for a treat.

Cups had a butter cookie.

Andy got to come in, too!

Cups helped walk Andy.

Then she got out to walk Andy and walked over one mile home. Good job, Cups.

Cups cleaning the grill

We started the grill for the first time this year. Cups helped clean. She did an excellent job. Mama had never seen her so focused. She said to Mama during cleaning, "Mama, it's hot." She was referring to the heat coming off the grill. She hung in there and finished her job with her rosy cheeks.

Cups at the whale park

The captain took a break at the wheel.

Daddy couldn't stop laughing as Cups continued to tell Mama, "Stop it. Take a break," whenever Mama steered at the helm, then Cups turned the wheel back.

Wishing at the fountain

We met up with Auntie D and Olivia first thing Sunday morning. Auntie D gave the girls pennies to make wishes.

Puppy toys

Before our nap, we put puppy back in the crate. Cups laid toys around the crate for the puppy and told her so, not understanding that Andy wouldn't have access to them.

Lunch and dessert with Uncle Jason

Thank you for the very yummy treat, Uncle Jason!

Cups loved the ginger ice cream at Molly Moon.

Andy at the zoo

Auntie D hoisted both children up to see the flamingos. Mama did not know this and took Andy in the zoo. Nobody said anything. She got busted at the penguin exhibit. We still had a good visit at the zoo while it lasted.

We hung out in the gorgeous weather outside the zoo before heading home.

Cups had fun playing outside the zoo.

Chocolate hat

Daddy was not feeling well. He still picked up Cupcakes from daycare and took her to the park. When Mama got home from work late, Daddy went back to bed.

Cups wanted mushrooms for dinner, so Mama and Cups set out for the store. When we got there, Cups spotted a chocolate cake in the display case. Mama told Cups, "I cannot spend $24 on a cake." We got the chocolate cake, leftover from Mother's Day for a $1 off. Dessert before dinner is a good idea because life is uncertain.

Cups: Can I eat this?

Mango mousse on the inside — very yummy. . .

Mama slid the mousse off the chocolate for me.

Cups, is the chocolate as big as your face?

I am done with chocolate. Now I can help you with the mousse, Mama.

Breakfast with Adorable Andy

Auntie Erin hosted a pancake breakfast to raise money for her half marathon with Team Challenge. Mama screwed up and did not take any pictures of Auntie Erin, Uncle Adi or breakfast. The pancakes were very yummy with all the super toppings. Thank you so much, Auntie Erin!! We loved Andy!

How can anyone not like me?

Cups rolling the ball to Andy. . .

Cups warming up to Andy. . .

Andy's a little tired. . .

Cups: Can I have the ball? Andy was funny. When Cups tries the first time or two, she would try to pick the ball up again. Cups would withdraw her hand until Andy puts it down and leave it for Cups.

Cups had a lot of fun playing with Andy.

We have an adopted puppy. Andy posed perfectly for the family portrait, too. It is a very happy Mother's Day picture.
