Hanging with Nate

We had lunch with Uncle Tim, Auntie Robin and Nate. Nate is growing really well. We were really happy to see the Chiang-Lin family. Uncle Tim and Auntie Robin took us for a walk around downtown Edmonds and the farmers' market. We had a great time. We'll be back for another visit soon.

Mama loves the summer!

Are summer clothes cuter or is it just Mama? Cups is getting and looking "bigger" all the time.

After we got home from daycare, Cups didn't want to get out of the car (as a joke). Mama started blowing bubbles, and she wanted out right away. Mama loves the summer!

Japanese Garden

Uncle Kai, Auntie Tonya and Baby Elizabeth took us to the Japanese Garden. It was a really nice place. We'll be back.

Father's Day 2009

Since Mama was not good about charging the camera battery, we had no pictures from the Father's Day weekend. Daddy had a good Father's Day all the same.

Cups made Daddy a card at daycare during the week.

On Saturday Daddy had Alki Bakery's cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

On Sunday Cups spent most of the morning out in the yard with Mama. We took Daddy to Baguette Box in Fremont for lunch and walked around the Fremont Fair. Cups and Mama napped when we got home. For dinner we met with Uncles Eric and Jason Oldfield for gyros. For dessert we picked up Uncle Jason Chien for Molly Moon. Ginger ice cream — yummy for Cups and Mama.

Happy Father's Day, Daddy!

The start of Father's Day weekend

Daddy enjoyed some cinnamon rolls from the Alki Bakery (that Cups and Mama picked up from MM).

Cups couldn't wait to get her hands on the marshmellow daddys that Uncle Kai and Auntie Tonya got for the family!

Korean BBQ dinner at Auntie Marci's

Cups sharing her bubbles with Anni. . .

Thank you, Auntie Erin and Uncle Adi, for the cute dress from Texas. We got to play with a super cute and good puppy and receive presents, too — what a great deal!

Auntie Lisa and Auntie Karen (the Brit). . .

Thank you for a super yummy dinner, Auntie Lisa!!!

Theo's peanut butter treat

Wow! The peanut butter insides tastes like the Taiwanese traditional peanut candy. Okay, Cups didn't say that, but her facial expression would match Mama's surprise.

Dinner & chocolates with the Shum family

Thank you, Uncle Kai, Auntie Tonya and Baby Elizabeth for a great evening in Fremont — during the week, even!

Dinner at Auntie Marci's

If we had not mentioned Cups is in her "learning" stage. . .

Kitty cat!

Cups loves cats, too!

After Daddy got hit on his bike, we took his bike in to Aaron's Bicycle Repair in West Seattle. Cups pointed at the two resident cats napping on the couch. When we went to pick up the bike, Cups tried to hug this one! Who knew that Cups would love cats, too!

Cups & Andy

We got together with Andy and Auntie Erin the night before Andy got spayed. Mama got to give Andy some Reiki. We had Pegasus Pizza for dinner — yum!

Andy before dinner. . .

Cups playing with Andy after dinner. . .

The Andy team. . .

We love Andy! Andy eyed Cups' bread "stick."

Cups wanted to get some water for Andy at Tully's. Mama filled up the bowl with water, and Cups carried it out to Andy.

Ahma's sunglasses

g

Cups had a great time with ahma and her sunglasses on Mama's birthday.

Cups and Ahgong & Ahma

Ahgong and ahma took the family to Palisade to celebrate Mama's birthday! Cups and Ahgong fed fish after Cups finished enjoying chocolate sauce from the fondu pot.

Birthday blossom

Mama found this blossom in the backyard on her birthday! Thank you for this wonderful surprise!

Furry 5K 2009

Cups was already mesmerized by the number of dogs she saw on the way to Seward Park for the Furry 5K walk.

Mama had never seen so many dogs all her life.

Cups didn't like the Dog. A Cat scared her at the end of the walk, too.

Family pictures. . .

As we approached the start. . .

Puppy was our dog for the walk.

Cups got out of the stroller for the last 1/3 of the walk.

Cups crossed the finish line on her own.

Good job, Cups! The whole family had a great time! We'd definitely participate in this walk again next year.
