The boys and Cups

Now Mama can appreciate Auntie Jo's success rate for capturing a good picture of all the boys, ha. (And Uncle James is not even in the picture, haha.)

Thank you, Auntie Jo, Uncle James and the boys, for your gracious and generous hospitality. Thank you so much for the super yummy food. Mama still so appreciate the amount of work and heart that Auntie Jo put into the preparation of having us over — especially when she is carrying a little one on top of caring for the three boys.

We had such a great time!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

Seven!

Excuse the nose rubbing. Cups still loves to sing!

Auntie Martha

Auntie Martha brought chocolate cupcakes and chocolate peanut butter cupcakes for dessert. Cups requested sparkles on all of them.

They were super yummy. Thank you, Auntie Martha!

Auntie Martha is cute! Uncle Eric?! Not as much.

They had tea with Cups. Thank you for another fun evening, Uncle Eric and Auntie Martha!

Scrapbooking Expo

Gae and I went to the Scrapbooking Expo in Puyallup. We had a great time and found some fun stuff. Cups was a happy receiver of sparkly glue, puppy stamps and a bone stamp.

Drumming

Cups had a private music lesson by default with the Xavier on vacation. Jay Jay wrote out the music in numbers. Cups had to figure out which drum was which number while playing, and Jay also wanted her to rotate between the two hands. Jay provided a lot of guidance, and her brain got a workout.

Hair day

We stopped by the park on the way to Jay Jay's. Cups says that the reason that she still wants to go in the baby swings from time to time because she doesn't need to pump in them - smart. She's almost too big to fit in them. Cups had a ponytail, and she also put Puppy's ears in ponytail holders - silly!

Hanging outside after dinner

Daddy took these pictures of Cups while waiting for everyone else to finish dinner.

Cups and Daddy played jumping this whole time.

We had another fun Saturday evening with Auntie Boo and Uncle Brady!

The West Seattle Fair in the pm

Later in the evening we took Auntie Boo and Uncle Brady to the fair for an elephant ear.

We bumped into Duncan!

Cups' got the open mouth posture for pictures with food down. Good job.

Cups and Auntie Boo ran back to the car.

West Seattle Fair

We took an ice cream break at QFC and had some Ben & Jerry's. Auntie Karen took this picture of Cups and her.

Mama wiped the ice cream mustache off Cups.

Cups' private lesson

With Xavier on vacation Cups ended up being the only student in the class for the day.

Jay had the piano seat all set up for little ones.

Cups playing the harp with it on her shoulder?! No, Jay held it up for her.

Jay trying to get the concept of lifting (preferably curved) fingers separately to Cups. . .

I want to go flying

How Cups is spoiled. . .

A day spent downtown

On the way downtown Cups one of our remaining pieces of evidence of our trip to NYC on the bus.

Seaweed. . .Mama asked Cups whether she would learn to swim to harvest some seaweed for Mama to eat. She said no. We saw this one our walk with Auntie Evelyne. She got Cups an ice cream treat. Thank you, auntie!!

After visiting with Auntie Boo we stopped by for an egg tart. Uhh. . .this was lunch for Cups.

We stopped by work to say hi to everyone before we came home to see How to Train Your Dragon. Cups thought the movie was too scary. She hung in there because Mama wanted to see it! She enjoyed the ending.

Let's go home for a nap now.

A long visit for ahgong and ahma

Ahgong and ahma took us to the new Japanese restaurant. Cups really enjoyed the egg sushi roll and ate five pieces!!

Cups remembered to ask for a pair of goggles when we were at the mall. She tried putting her face in the tub when we got home. She didn't know to hold her breath and breathed in some water. Good try, Cups!

Then we ended the day at the emergency room. The family waited for close to three hours before Mama asked them to go home. The doctor happened to have dropped by during those short three minutes and did not come back for another forty-five minutes. A CT scan and six hours of waiting later we learned that the episode took place before we got to the ER. Without going into the details, all is well. Mama was not even in pain the whole time at the ER.

Ahgong came back an hour and half later to bring Mama dinner that she could not eat. Ahma was home trying to tuck Cups in. Ahma termed their interaction as chicken and duck chatting. Cups didn't understand Chinese fully. When ahma tried to talk to her in English, she didn't seem to understand everything either. Thank you very much, ahgong and ahma.

Ahgong and Mama left quickly as soon as we were released at midnight. The ER was still fully packed.

Strawberries!

On the way to visit with ahgong and ahma Cups asked for a break from the drive. The happened to be a strawberry stand. Cups got shy and tried to give back the $3 Mama gave her for strawberries.

Miss Cups and her pint of strawberries. . .
