Mama's birthday

Daddy embarked on a card project on Mama's birthday. We had ambitions. After hanging out with Gae and having dinner, we wanted to make a card, go to the park and then bring shaved ice to Auntie Boo's house. We made a card and walked to the store for soap, ha.

Cups, the Sparkle Expert, applied sparkle on leaves.

Mama helped some.

Something happened right before this picture was taken, so. . . no smile from Cups.

Birthday surprises

When we pulled in the garage after visiting with Auntie Elizabeth, we found a red envelope on Daddy's car windshield from the Shum Family! Thank you for your thoughtfulness, Uncle Kai and Auntie Tonya!

When Mama started getting dinner ready, she found a cake in the fridge! Uncle Michael and Auntie Penny had come by early to spend some extra time with Cups, but we weren't home!

Thank you for coming, everyone!

Cups wanted it to be her birthday. . .

She gave up pouting and helped Mama blow out the candle.

Cups brought her birthday crown as her recognition of Mama's birthday. Thank you, sweetheart. Everyone LOVED the cake. Thank you so much for the cake, Auntie Penny. Everyone at Mama's work enjoyed it as well the next day!

Pics Cups took at dessert

Cups has been enjoying the camera that grandma gave her for Christmas. However, Mama has not been very good about downloading those pictures on the computer.

Dilettante Café

We went to the Dilettante Café on Capitol Hill to celebrate Auntie Elizabeth's belated birthday. As busy as she is, chocolate and dessert in emails get her attention. We always appreciate her carving time out to spend with us.

Cups and Daddy's hot chocolate. . .

After checking out the display case, Cups picked the chocolate mousse.

You don't need to tell her to dig in.

Hankang

Uncle Michael and Auntie Penny treated us out for Daddy's belated birthday. This was our third plate of bean sprouts. As soon as it came, Cups pulled it to her and dug in. Mama just cracked up.

Cups ate a lot and was in a very happy mood.

Thank you, Uncle Michel and Auntie Penny!

Cups is ready.

On the way out Cups announced that she had everything she needed: two puppies, a purse and her head band — so silly!
