Sunday with the Kims

We had lunch with the Kims on Sunday (while Mama forgot about Toby's christening - so sorry!!). We hung out in the Junction after lunch. We read a couple books at the used book store, had hot chocolate at Bakery Nuveau and shopped at Georgia Blu.

Mama captured Cupcakes crying, an infrequent event, when she was tired and hungry. Mama got Cupcakes "Beans," a teething toy. Beans has two black dots for eyes and a red dot for mouth.

Cupcakes and Mama

Mama loves this pictures taken soon before the family called it a night around 9:30. Cupcakes had been a trooper. We left the house around one, and she took a nap for just an hour between the wedding ceremony and reception.

Everyone just loved Cupcakes and her dress/shawl, and we had a great time at the wedding!

Proud Grandma

Grandma called Cupcakes beautiful - a beautiful grandma and a beautiful baby!

Cupcakes dancing at the reception

Dancing started just as Cupcakes was winding down for the day. Auntie Angela danced with Cupcakes in her arm. (Cupcakes would never let me hold her in that position! Good going, Auntie Angela!) Cupcakes wasn't holding up well when Uncle Eric took her to the dance floor. Cupcakes danced on a dance floor for the first time. Cupcakes danced on the table a little before she called it a day.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh

What a handsome couple! Many congratulations, Auntie Brooke and Uncle Scott!

Cupcakes during the ceremony

People complimented Cupcakes for being good during the ceremony. She sucked the ends of the bow on her dress. She checked out the program. She plucked at Daddy's boutonniere and made herself a little bed of rose petals on the floor. She flipped through Mama's book. She stood, facing back to interact with Uncle Chris and Auntie Angela. Thank you, Uncle Chris and Auntie Angela for engaging her half of the time.
