Cups with the handsome owner of Bakery Nouveau, William Leaman, CHAMPION DU MONDE de la BOULANGERIE, Bread Bakers Guild, Team USA 2005. This is Cups' second celebrity sighting after meeting Tom Douglas volunteering at the Bite of Seattle in 2007.
Cups got free chocolate chip cookie from the owner. From this angle she looks like Uncle Michael when he was a baby.
Somehow the box opened up when Cups asked for chocolate! Did Cups know that there's a piece of chocolate for decoration on top of each piece of dessert? Yes, by the time we got to Auntie Elizabeth's that evening, all the chocolate was gone. Cups practiced saying "yao" (want in Chinese) all the way home. Later that afternoon the teacher in Chinese learned that Cups can talk (surprise!) when she repeated "wo yao" (I want) after the teacher. Cups can also sing the fruit song after three classes.
Cups and her second piece of chocolate. . . She's a purist. She gave up her chocolate chip cookie. She only wanted chocolate.
