Playing. . .
We were going to get the car from the train station garage first and pick up the luggage at the hotel afterwards. Just as we stood in front of the train station, Daddy realized that the car key was in a jacket pocket at the hotel. We waited while Daddy tracked back. Cups kept herself entertained for a long time.
Dumon chocolates
We stopped by Chocolatier Dumon, recommended as having the creamiest chocolates in Brugge by Rick Steves, one more time before we left the city.
We had a picture taken with Madame Dumon, who was busy packing chocolates. She gave Cups and Daddy samples while she worked. Mama's sugar fast for Lent ruined her taste buds for chocolates.
Behind the counter is Madame Dumon's daughter.
Madame Dumon made an Easter present for Cups - wow! Thank you!!!
Here is a picture of the bunny with a basket full of chocolate Easter eggs.
Mama wished that she had brought more chocolates home. We may return another time.
Flemish Beef Stew
Rich Steves recommended the Flemish Beef Stew at the Central Restaurant in the square. However, there is cost for eating where it's happening. The waiter gave us major attitude for not ordering drinks to save €5-10. These two dishes cost about €45. We noticed that people around us went all out with drinks, entrees and desserts. Jiuma later confirmed that is the Belgian way to eat out. We enjoyed our last meal in Brugge the best we could. The pasta was spicy and a little bland. Daddy's beef stew was pretty good.

Belgian waffle
This was the waffle kitchen.
Mama went across the street to take the picture. The place had a long line the previous day, but we were too full. Later we read that people there don't have waffles for breakfast — ohhh.
We were really impressed with the world's largest jar of Nutella. Mama wondered whether Costco size would even come this big, if there was one.
Daddy is very excited — therefore the smile on his face.
Can I eat more yet? (See the chocolate smudge on Cups' face already.) Mama got Nutella, and Daddy got chocolate.
Grote Markt, Brugge
This is famous Grote Markt in the center of Brugge. (For English speakers, it is better known by its French name — Bruges).
This is what Da Vinci Gelato looked like first thing in the morning.

Canal ride in Brugge
Yes, it made Daddy very happy for us to have gotten a discount (€0.90 per person) for the canal rides when he showed the person selling tickets his copy of the Rick Steve's tour book (from the library).
