Mama went to NYC in the middle of the week to attend a 12-hour seminar hosted by Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God. Mama was glad that she had the opportunity to go. Daddy supported the decision. Mama had to figure out whether she had any vacation left; otherwise it would have definitely been a no go. She was able to figure out transportation logistic without having to worry about getting lost in the subway and find cheap airfare and a relatively cheap hotel for one night.
Getting close to Manhattan (after leaving Queens). . .
It's dark. The M&M World sign is on the right hand side.
Mama will have to remember to spend a night at this Crowne Plaza Hotel (on top of the Hershey's store) one of these days. . . (And M&M World is right across the street. During this trip Mama visited five chocolate stores.)
Mama had a great time visiting with Uncle Stan!!! The Korean food was very yummy. After lunch Uncle Stan shared that a Hello Kitty store and Pinkberry was down the street. Mama had to take care of business. She tried Pinkberry in NYC when she's heard so much about it from people who live in LA. Thank you for visiting, Uncle Stan, and we look forward to your visit in Seattle!!

I LOVE NYC. We should do a girls' trip there someday :) Maybe when the kids are grown and before we get too old. Glad that you had a safe trip and a great time!
