Michael turned 3!

Michael had a birthday party at Gymboree, and Cups had a great time. She enjoyed that extra more because they probably haven't been going outside to play in the yard at Marji's on rainy days.

We had a great time! Thank you, Auntie Teresa and Uncle Bosco for a wonderful party!

2009 Christmas card fundraiser

There are two designs this year. Each card is $1.25. All of the money collected this year will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. The cause will be stated on a sticker on the back of each card. 90 of the Celebration of Season and 140 of the Christmas tree will be made. The sale will be over once the cards are sold.

Please email me to place an order, and pick-ups can be arranged downtown; otherwise, I would greatly appreciate your help with shipping cost.

Ronald McDonald House Charities is dedicated to improving children’s access to the highest quality health care. For example, the Ronald McDonald House, allows families to access specialized medical treatment by providing a place to live at little to no cost. The Ronald McDonald Care Mobile provide high quality medical, dental and health education to those with the greatest barriers to accessible health care.

Nate's 1st birthday

Cups asked to carry the book and brought it to Nate when we found him at the restaurant.

One awesome cake. . .when Mama saw it, she asked Auntie Robin for the fuzz, which was the stringy frosting that made Elmo's face.

Cups and Daddy met up with Uncle Jason for some pumpkin clove ice cream at Molly Moon, then stopped by the QFC across the street while it is being remodeled.

Play time

For the past month Cups has kept herself entertained with pretend play. Ahgon and ahma brought back these jellies from their trip to Taiwan, and this kept her excitedly busy for quite a while. Besides the transportation vehicles, she also had a set of marine mammals.

Another play-doh creation

This looked like a kitty's face to Mama.

On the way home from aquarium

Later we met up with the uncles for dinner. When Uncle Chris asked Cups if she was at the aquarium earlier, she showed him her Leonard tattoo.

Cups didn't want a picture taken of her.

Woo, it was weird how the sun came through on top of our heads, ha.

Cups stayed awake the whole ride home.

She ran all the way — okay just half a block — home.

Cups' first rice crispy treats

We had lunch with Uncle Eric and Uncle Arty at Mae Phim. We had coffee afterwards. Uncle Artie was getting married on Saturday and came in town to hang with Uncle Eric for a couple days before their big day. Cups had asked for a rice crispy treat the other day. Mama decided to get her the treat today.

Uncle Eric showed us incriminating evidence when we got back from washing Cups' sticky hands.
