Cups' first visit to the dentist's

Cups had an education introduction of the dental instruments.

She was hesitant about opening her mouth. She did it! And kept her attention on the princess movie on a screen in the ceiling.

Cups had Blue Raspberry cleaner.

Dr. Thomas came and found a cavity — Mama's Mom Failure #1. (Mama is generous with herself.) He pointed out that the cavity was from bottle feeding at one point in time. At one point in time?! She's still taking bottles in the middle of the night.

Cups got a toy on the way out. She picked to have a little puppy.

On the way home Mama talked to Cups about not having any more night bottles. She didn't like the idea, but she complied. Everyone slept through the night for three nights in a row. Now sometimes Daddy and Mama still need to wake up to calm light crying in the middle of the night (due to unknown reasons). Cups is still in the process of learning to eat more, but she hasn't asked for any more night bottles. Mama got Cups an electric toothbrush, and she seems to like it a lot. She also enjoys flossing. She likes to chew the floss as "gum" after Mama's done and rinses it off.

We left the house at 8:30, and Mama didn't get to work until close to noon. It was worth it for Mama that Cups had an enjoyable dental experience.
