Going home on the ferry

Taking the ferry home. . .

Someone offered to take a picture of the family. . .

One last picture with Bear

Susie just celebrated her weekend a few days before our visit. Cups kept hugging this bear during our visit. Daddy took a picture of her with the bear right before we left.

Wrapping up our visit

The tide started coming back in.

Hiking

Our visit was not over. After lunch Mike and Susie took us for a hike behind the house.

The trail was beautiful, and the air was smelled great.

Hot tubbing

And Susie cooks so well, too. This truly is a paradise. Thank you very much for sharing your favorite place on earth with us. :)

Boo from the neighborhood stretched out on the deck for some sun.

Our harvest

Mike was kind to have changed the water for the clam several times before we left. Thank you, Mike!

Cups having fun with water

Cups had fun playing on her own.

We had fun!

We had a great time on the beach. Thank you, Susie and Mike!

Mama holding up the starfish that Susie found. . .

The starfish was still holding onto some pebbles.

In the water and on the beach

Low tide

Susie picked a low tide weekend to have us over so that we can enjoy more of the beach.

Fertile oyster bed. . .

Susie found a crab. . .

Susie and Mama clammed with bare hands. The clams were everywhere under the rocks.

The view to the right. . .

Still clamming. . .

For lunch we enjoyed clams that Mike harvested from the day before.

Moon rise

We sat by the beach and enjoyed the company, view and fire.

Cups tried a roasted marshmallow.

S'Mores

After dinner Susie prepared the ingredients for s'mores — fun!!

Mike roasted the first marshmallows for us.

Cups' reaction to her first s'more. . .

She gave it a try.

She liked it well enough. She had a marshmallow refill for this one later. She didn't finish her s'more and opted for just fresh-out-of-the-bag marshmallows.
