Cups playing in the Junction

Cups loves to play on bike rakes from her "younger" days. She knew to put her head next to Mama's for a picture!

Celebrity sighting at Bakery Nouveau

Cups with the handsome owner of Bakery Nouveau, William Leaman, CHAMPION DU MONDE de la BOULANGERIE, Bread Bakers Guild, Team USA 2005. This is Cups' second celebrity sighting after meeting Tom Douglas volunteering at the Bite of Seattle in 2007.

Cups got free chocolate chip cookie from the owner. From this angle she looks like Uncle Michael when he was a baby.

Somehow the box opened up when Cups asked for chocolate! Did Cups know that there's a piece of chocolate for decoration on top of each piece of dessert? Yes, by the time we got to Auntie Elizabeth's that evening, all the chocolate was gone. Cups practiced saying "yao" (want in Chinese) all the way home. Later that afternoon the teacher in Chinese learned that Cups can talk (surprise!) when she repeated "wo yao" (I want) after the teacher. Cups can also sing the fruit song after three classes.

Cups and her second piece of chocolate. . . She's a purist. She gave up her chocolate chip cookie. She only wanted chocolate.

Sends greetings to Auntie Christine. . .

Sunday Farmers' Market

Mama and Cups went to the West Seattle Farmers Market on Sunday. After many many samples at the Tiny's stand, Cups still took big bites of the plum that Mama got her.

Drawing. . .

Owen asked for paper and coloring utensils. Mama had not been prepared for after dinner activities, but it was a good thing that Mama had supplies from her craft room. The kids stayed occupied for a while. Uncle loves the picture Owen drew of uncle and his sheep. Thank you, O!!

Cups is taller!

Tall enough to ring the doorbell!

Cups swiffering

Uncle Chris made a customized swiffer for me!

Stop screwing around and give back the swiffer, uncle!

Okay, maybe it's a little funny.
