Three weeks at the new daycare

Cupcakes sits comfortably in Miss Monique's lap. She goes to Miss Monique on her own. She squeals in delight when Miss Raquel speaks to her. She drinks her milk. She takes naps in her swaddling blanket. She participates in singing, reading, circle time and playing. She also has her tummy time. Miss Monique and Miss Raquel still ask to take turns holding her after three weeks. One uhn out of her, and the teachers and kids run to see what the baby wants. Once Miss Monique asked her 13-year-old daughter Amina to bring the baby down because she was holding the baby for fun. Cupcakes is so spoiled and loved there. When she woke up screaming from a nap, Miss Raquel rubbed her back and tummy, and gas passed. Mama felt like crying. At the old daycare she cried a lot. They guessed that she had gas and asked for simethicone. Mama opted for the more natural gripe water, which consisted of ginger, fennel and sugar water. They gave it to her with every meal regardless of whether she was gassy or not. It is a lot of work for two people to tend to eight babies at the old daycare. Cupcakes is very lucky to be the only baby loved by a great group of people now.

In the picture is Miss Monique with Sydney (8) on the right, her younger sister Cameron (6) on the left and De'Andre (3). Sydney gets the door for Mama and takes the car seat from Mama every morning! Thank you, Sydney!!
