the Mississippi

After dinner, with the company of Bruce, our CMU (Commercial Mortgage Underwriter) from Seattle, we set out for a eight short blocks walk to see the Mississippi river — close to the start. It had a calm and relaxing vibe about it. It was beautiful, and we admired in awe.











Of course the evening was not over. Mama and Auntie Karen set out to do some clothes shopping for Cups at the Target downtown — 13 short blocks from the river. Target's headquarter is in Minneapolis. Mama could not quite get used to the concept of having a two-story Target downtown anywhere! Since there were no taxes on clothing in Minnesota, we were not going to waste the opportunity. We had our share of fun at Target.
