Cupcakes' whereabouts last weekend

Auntie Amanda told Daddy that she was tired of looking at day two at daycare. Mama agreed. There has been no new pictures to look at while she's back at work. As soon as Mama cleans the bottles, put in more milk and puts labels with Cupcakes' name and date on the bottles, she can barely think of doing anything else other than crawl in bed.

Mama and Daddy are learning about the
importance of sleep to Cupcakes, especially with Cupcakes becoming more alert. They took Cupcakes everywhere they went last weekend, and Cupcakes did not nap much. She ended up not sleeping enough. However, here are the pictures of her around town. . .

First thing Saturday morning Cupcakes had a shower. She has showers Tuesday nights and
Saturday mornings. She then went to Bellevue to pick up Mama's dry cleaning for her first day back at work. Afterwards we met up with Uncle Michael and Auntie Penny downtown Seattle. Uncle Michael got Mama a new pair of glasses for her early birthday present. The lenses are being shipped from Europe, so it will take a while. Glasses will be easy on the eye, especially on nights when Mama can barely see from being too tired. Cupcakes slept the whole time and woke up for happy hour. At happy hour Cupcakes had a Bloody Mary. They wouldn't let Cupcakes sit at the bar, so we served her the drink at her stroller. Daddy put the yamaka and hood on Cupcakes going back to Pacific Place in the cold and wet Seattle weather. Right after happy hour Cupcakes had a diaper change and met up with Aunties Kim and Yvonne for shopping at H Mart in Federal Way and Korean dinner. Cupcakes was way too tired by then. Aunties Kim and Yvonne helped settle Cupcakes down.

Saturday night over tea Auntie Yvonne helped Mama cut some tags on new clothes that Cupcakes has received as presents in her box of new next-size-up clothes. We found some very cute things that Cupcakes could start wearing.

Sunday Cupcakes got dressed in a new outfit with
bunny on it from Auntie Megan - very cute and just in time for Easter. Cupcakes hung out with Mama for a while before going out for a walk while Daddy slept in. Daddy played with Cupcakes in front of the mirror when he got up. Cupcakes smiles when she looks at people, including herself, in the mirror. Does she know that the cute baby is her? Mama noticed that she's more alert. She will look at Mama and turn around to see what Daddy's doing.

Sunday afternoon Mama put Cupcakes down for a short nap before Uncles Eric and Artie came over for a visit. We took Cupcakes shopping, and we caught more of her entertaining expressions. Sunday ended with dinner with Uncle Michael and Auntie Penny. We have a lot of pictures of Cupcakes drinking milk but not necessary drinking, haha. Again Cupcakes cried herself hoarse when we put her to bed after nine. Cupcakes likes to go to bed on time.
