Cupcakes has been out too much with Mama and missed posting new entries the last two weeks. Maybe Mama can catch up later. She did take pictures!
This morning Cupcakes got up around eight to get ready for the day. Later she helped Mama and Daddy shop for the Guinnesse and Thomas Kemper rootbeer float party for Daddy's 33rd birthday. We appreciated all the uncles and aunties who came. Cupcakes enjoyed meeting new uncles and aunties and seeing the "old" ones again! We missed some of you! Auntie Lisa sent very cute 6-9 months clothes for Cupcakes - thank you!!
Mama is not sure how she feels about Cupcakes' starting daycare tomorrow. She finished packing extra outfits, diapers, soy formula for just in case, Stuart's coat and mittens for walks, wet wipes and an emergency kit (two outfits that are way large, baby Tylenol, two bottles of liquid soy formula, 12 diapers and wet wipes). She is getting breast milk in bottles ready and wants to write down some of Cupcakes' habits down for the daycare people.
Cupcakes did not nap very much this afternoon, so Mama tucked her in early. The whole family may have earlier bedtimes when Mama starts working in a week.
Daddy starts his new job at Tideworks in West Seattle tomorrow!
As of last week Mama is starting to "lose it." She can't think and type as well as she could before. Auntie Jackie commented that Mama sounded more grounded. Cupcakes comes first, and Mama can take care of everything else later.

Hi, Megumi:
This is Tsung Chin, your cousin from Taiwan.
Cupcake looks cute. Perhaps I do not look at her in person; I think she looks like her father, especially her eyes.
As for her Chinese name, I have some "out-of-box" suggestion; why not give her a Japanese name, symbolizing diversity in Taiwan, your birth place, where Japanese, Chinese and American influences converge. Anyway, you got a Japanese name yourself, right?
