Day full of visits

This morning Cupcakes and Mama visited with Auntie Jeannie and five-weeks-old Baby Aiken in Issaquah Highlands. Baby Aiken was cute! Auntie Jeannie was a great hostess and showed Mama some baby care tips. Thank you for your hospitality and a fun visit, Auntie Jeannie! We'll see you for the next play date next week!

Baby Aiken is still young, so Mama did not have the heart to use flash on him. (Yes, but she would use the flash on Cupcakes left and right since she was little.) Some tell me that they can't remember when their kids were as small as Cupcakes. I can't remember when Cupcakes was as small as Aiken. Cupcakes is definitely heavier this week that I am having trouble raising her into the air.

Cupcakes and Mama got home at three-thirty. Cupcakes was due for feeding at four, but she slept until Mama woke her up at five. I was really lucky because that allowed me to nap for an hour and half when I was very tired.

Later when Daddy got home we got ready to head to Bothell for Daddy to help a friend set up DSL connection. Cupcakes and Mama visited with Uncle Steve, Auntie Angela and Cousin Sarah in the neighborhood. When we got there we watched Cousin Sarah finish her fun bath - with toys and all - and get a beauty treatment (lotion and hair drying) from her Daddy and Mama. Afterwards Cousin Sarah showed Cupcakes her playroom. She wanted Cupcakes on the swing with her. We had her hold Cupcakes sitting on the floor instead. Cousin Sarah was very loving. She's going to be a great big sister to her little sister arriving in May. Later Cupcakes lied down with Cousin Sarah for night-night. As Cupcakes and Mama waited for Daddy to come pick them up, Auntie Angela helped clean up Cupcakes' milk that came back up and Mama's spilling of water.
