Cupcakes is a funny baby. Some of her hiccups sound like TiVo's fast forwarding.
After her 9am diaper change this morning she let Mama wash her hair, change her clothes and clean her face, getting ready to meet everyone at church for the first time and went back to sleep while waiting to leave. (I'll ask her to pull her right leg out and left leg out of the outift for diaper changes, and she does with some assistance. I am the Mama, so I see my baby as a smart little cookie, haha.) Uh-oh, Daddy brought her out to the living room while he was getting ready, and Cupcakes has been awake since.
She still wakes up every three hours for milk and diaper change in the middle of the night like clock work and goes right back to sleep after light burping with help from Mama and a little more on her own in bed. I am getting used to getting up in the middle of the night. However, I have my tired days. During one of those nights when she made noises to let me know to feed her, I got up, burped her and rocked her back to sleep. A few minutes after she fell back asleep I realized that she wanted to nurse, and I woke her up again. For the earlier feeding that night I changed her and realized that I had not fed her yet just before tucking her back in bed.
Yesterday (Saturday) turned out to be a relatively warm day. Cupcakes went on a walk with Mama and Daddy. She was tired from lack of napping most of the day and slept the whole way.
Cupcakes attended Uncle Tim's birthday party in the evening. Auntie Robin's cooking was very delish, and everyone had a great time at the party. Grandpa and Grandma Chiang-Lin spent time loving Cupcakes. Cupcakes cried her one hour starting at nine. We had thought that she was crying everyday this past week because she hated bedtime. She'll start crying at nine even when we are not putting her to bed yet. Last night we got home after midnight, and she went to bed without a peep. Does this make sense to anyone? (She gives out a wah every second, so she wah's 3600x in an hour. Some wah's are longer, and don't worry - she catches up with shorter wah's.) Cousin Sarah was the cutest and sweetest. She helped me carry my purse out. Uncle Tim was very protective, and we finally got him to let us take a picture of him and Cupcakes with the flash. Cupcakes, the well loved one, came home with more new clothes and a toy. Thank you, Grandpa and Grandma Chiang-Lin and Auntie Angela and Uncle Steve!
Cupcakes just stood on Mama for about 10-15 seconds with spotting this morning!

Hi, Cupcakes! You are the best baby! To think, drinking in a cup and standing (with spotting) is such an accomplishment for a 2 month old baby. Thank you for telling us how you are and keep on blogging!
